Why Give?

856C1823Every gift to St. Catharine School makes a major difference-whether the gift is large or small, it signifies your confidence in us as a school worthy of your support. Your confidence is well placed. Your gifts are much appreciated.

As a private parish school, St. Catharine  School must ensure fiduciary stability in order to carry on its long-standing tradition. The generous support from alumni, parents, and friends is extraordinary and helps to ensure that students can live and learn in an environment that will foster their growth as leaders and in service to others.

Like nearly all Catholic schools, St. Catharine’s relies on sources other than tuition to help finance the superior education the school provides. This year tuition rose to $4,825. This may seem expensive, but rest assured, we strive to be one of the most affordable Catholic schools in the city. Financial support—either through Level II funds, Home & School fundraisers, or our annual St. Catharine’s FunFest—helps to first provide scholarships to families in need and bridges the gap between tuition and the actual cost of education. Currently, the cost to educate each child is $5,760.

All members of the St. Catharine School community—parents, grandparents, alumni, parents of alumni, faculty and staff, and other friends—are asked to participate in supporting the School with philanthropic gifts as generous as their circumstances allow.

You may Give Online through the parish’s secure site.  For more information or to make a gift directly, contact our principal at jweisner@cdeducation.org or by phone at 614.235.1396.
