Enrichment & Extracurricular Opportunities at St. Catharine School
A Catholic education seeks to educate the whole person. Activities promoting service, wellness, the arts, stewardship, faith formation, and leadership are offered both during and after the school day. Students are invited to get involved and have fun while discovering their gifts, talents, and interests. Please visit the Enrichment & Extracurricular page to learn more.
Our Dedicated Teachers
“Teachers who love teaching, teach children to love learning.” ~Unknown
St. Catharine School teachers are licensed by the State of Ohio. Many of our teachers have advanced degrees in their specific grade and/or content areas. Every five years, they develop a new Individual Professional Development Plan that requires ongoing professional development either through graduate college classes and/or attendance at workshops and conferences. In addition, all classroom teachers have certification in Religion. These certificates have to be maintained by continued attendance at religious education programs. First year teachers work with a mentor teacher over a four year period. Most importantly, St. Catharine School has dedicated, professional teachers who strongly support the philosophy of Catholic education. They work with students and parents to ensure that our students receive a quality religious and academic learning experience.
