Community Night

Chair:  Alysia Plank

Timing:  Typically the 3rd Thursday afternoon/evening of the month during the school year.

This fundraiser requires no volunteers, BUT invites your support through participating.  The restaurant hosting each event shares a generous percentage of sales with our Home & School Association.  In addition, it is a great opportunity for assembling our school community. Remember to give or show your server the Community Night Flyer so St. Catharine gets credit for your purchase.

Creative Activities Program (CAP)

hair:  Jasmine Williams

Timing:  Three (3) Six week Sessions throughout the school year
Fall – 10/7 – 11/15
Winter – 1/27 – 3/6
Spring – 4/6 – 5/15

This program offers a number of extracurricular after school clubs. A child’s education doesn’t stop in the classroom. School sponsored after school activities can be an invaluable setting for a child’s continued personal and academic growth. Clubs provide opportunities to strengthen social skills and character through activities.

Have a special talent or specialized knowledge that could be a club?  Great!  Start a club for the next session.  If not, here are a few ideas: Scrapbooking, Jewelry Making, Photography, Knitting, Card Making, Painting, Crafts, Story Club, STEM, Rockets, Legos, Dance, Safety, & the list goes on!

Leading a club is easy & fun!  Plus, all expenses are reimbursed.

We are always in need of volunteers to help organize and lead clubs. Club leaders need to have completed Protecting God’s Children. For more information, please contact the Committee Chair listed above using The Caller, our school directory.

Creative Activities Program (CAP)

CAP offers a number of extracurricular after school clubs.  See the session details below for more information.

STEM1

STEM Club

Clubs are open to grades 1-8 and one day a week after school from approximately 3:00 to 4:00. There are sessions in the Fall, Winter, and Spring. Sessions normally run about 6-8 weeks.

Please consider giving an hour per week on the day of your choice to lead a club. This would be a great way to earn volunteer hours and can be anything from Legos to gardening to science club. We can help you with any ideas and materials to get your club started. HASA will reimburse you for materials used and snacks.

Our students really enjoy participating in after school clubs, but it is essential for parent involvement to keep these clubs going.

We are always in need of volunteers to help organize and lead clubs. Club leaders need to have completed Protecting God’s Children. Please visit the Home & School CAP Volunteer page or contact the Committee Chair.
